StemWave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment option available at McKenney Chiropractic for patients dealing with acute or chronic musculoskeletal pain. Using targeted acoustic waves, StemWave is designed to stimulate a natural biological response in the treatment area, which may help support circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue recovery. Treatments are quick, drug-free, and do not require anesthesia, injections, or surgery.

StemWave may be considered for discomfort involving the back, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, shins, hamstrings, ankles, and feet, as well as certain soft tissue injuries involving muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Common treatment areas on the current McKenney page include concerns such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, knee pain, shoulder pain, Achilles-related discomfort, and other overuse or activity-related conditions.

How StemWave Works

During treatment, a gel is applied to the targeted area and the StemWave applicator delivers focused acoustic waves into the tissue. Sessions are typically brief, and the treatment does not require numbing creams or anesthesia. The number of sessions recommended will depend on the condition being treated, your symptoms, and how your body responds to care.
